Episode 13
For episode 13 I thought it was appropriate to go with a good monster game! Zombies Ate My Neighbors for the Sega Genesis. Trogboy and myself, in our on going quest to play some quality 2-player co-op games, decided to give this one a try. I had this game in the past but never beat it, but Trogboy and I are on that very mission. I must say, now that the boy has taken an interest in retro games, it is a blast to play with him, even though he often questions my decisions and skills, as you can see and hear in the videos… Doesn’t he know who I am!!?
So Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a 1 or 2 player game with 55 total levels. You goal is to clear each level by saving all the humans. To stop you there is an impressive number of monsters throughout the game. All the monsters are taken from classic 50’s style monster movies and give the game a great look and feel. It is a blast to play. Going through all 55 levels in one sitting is all but impossible for us, but fortunately you get a password about every 4-5 levels that will allow you to start from that point.
We will break the videos up into 4-5 level chunks, between getting new passwords.
