Cloudpunk is an open world adventure game about a neon-noir story set in a rain-drenched cyberpunk metropolis. Cloudpunk is made by Ion Lands and published by Maple Whispering Limited for PC and published by Merge Games for Consoles. Cloudpunk released on April 23, 2020 for PC, October 15, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One (Also Playable on Xbox Series S/X), Nintendo Switch, and on August 19, 2022 for PS5.

In Cloudpunk you take control of Rania, a new driver for the “semi-legal” delivery company Cloudpunk. In Cloudpunk you have a HOVA (flying car) which you can ride through Nivalis, a futuristic city above the sea, built on tall vertical structures, collecting and delivering packages as well as passengers. It is also possible to park the HOVA in certain parking spaces and explore parts of the city on foot. During some missions, the player can make decisions that influence or change the outcome of the mission, so they’re not all straight forward A to B missions. You can also collect optional story and fing hidden places and items that are scattered throughout the city to unlock additional side quests.

There’s also plenty of custization in Cloudpunk. It’s possible to upgrade the HOVA to increase the speed and durability, as well as buy items to decorate Rania’s apartment. There are many types of characters including androids, AI and unscrupulous humans at every level of society. Everyone in Cloudpunk has a story, and in the course of one night in Nivalis, everything will change. The decisions you make in Cloudpunk will have a lasting impact on the inhabitants of Nivalis.
